I was playing Fighter's History Dynamite on my cab, and in one of the backgrounds (it was a city) While fighting Mizochuchi, one of the signs in the background had what seriously could be a little caricature of Blanca from Street Fighter. I know the basic drift about what happened between Data East + Capcom but never heard about this. It's pretty cool. I did a double take, and I dunno, but, what are the odds of a random thing that LOOKS like Blanca (green skin, orange hair) being slipped into a game at random? :D

I tried getting to that character (Ox?), but I just couldn't get the patience to master the game.

While I loved FFS to play it long enough to get to Ryo, it wasn't the same for Karnov's Revenge.

Fighting the ox is super cool. It doesn't put up much a fight though. :)

Samchay has the bloodiest fastest fireballs I ever seen... CPU AI can get real cheap with that bastard. I win his victory growl though. Sounds like a hopping vampire...

Fran, I think you and I are the only two nerds here that appreciate the old school fighting games. I ask the same question of anyone who plays FFS, if they lose a round or not. Too bad you can't select Ryo in the MVS version....or can you?

I await your challenge. <img src="graemlins/makeface.gif" border="0" alt="[Make Face]" />

I just got Fighter's History Dynamite for Saturn in the mail the other day, and hopefully will be able to get an MVS kit of this in the near future. I will see if it holds true for the Saturn version.

In the Saturn version, there are slowdown tendencies during repeated fireball "showdowns" which get annoying quickly.

Not sure if the MVS was plagued with that disease.

Overall though, a good game.
