Ryo from AOF got fucked when transferred...

Dude!!!

Why the fuck do the SNK programmers crippled Ryo from the AOF series into the piece of shit he is in KOF. His style and moves were awesome, his guard stance has no pair, on AOF.

But in KOF he's like a bastard mix between kunf fu and lima lama, dude, no he is useless. <IMG SRC="smilies/veryangry.gif" border="0">

Does anyone share my point of view?

I know you can compare Ryo fro AOF with Ryo from KOF, regardless of his power for KOF sakes.

Well hes got the same moves in KoF as AoF,they are harder to pull off than AoF,like with your zanretsuken going from
-> <--> c to rotataing the joytick in lower directions + 2 buttons ect,also in KoF he looks smaller,AoF was always remembered for there size,but thats all the real difference is just slightly harder to pull off moves and smaller build.

Hey:

AOF and KOF are two different games. Just because its the same character doesn't mean he will keep certain moves, combos, etc. Ryo rawks on any game he appears, IMO.

Personally, if any AOF character has suffered on KOF, its Robert...

I think Kanji freak is also talking about the stance change that started from KOF96 on. I really don't like his open arms stance all to much, and much prefer him the way he was in AOF.

BTW, we all know that he is pretty much the same in CapcomvsSNK, but I wonder if they will change his stance in CvsSNK2?

Not only did Ryo get screwed but Robert also. They look too scrawny in KoF. Ryo looks like he's on crack and Robert looks like a total faggot. Robert does look much better in KoF 99 though.
