Mixed-Up CounterParts?

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Terry is a more fitting counterpart to Ryu than Kyo is? Likewise, I think Kyo is a better counterpart to Ken. Terry, Ryu, both wandering, perfecting their techniques, etc. Any thoughts on this, or any other mismatches?

That's funny tht you say that because I totally agree. Terry is the Ryu of the SNK world, NOT Kyo. If for no other reason, he's been in about twice as many games as Kyo. Kyo is the lead player in what is currently SNK's most popular game series, not the face of the company. To me, it's Terry and always will be.

The "types" Terry and Ryu are also the same, as you have stated. I'm with ya', Bio. Kyo's no Ryu.

For the record, Rugal and Bison have more in common than Geese and Bison.

I think Geese is more on Akumas level. Also I think Big Bear would have fit better in the game than Rayden, I know they're the same character but Bear was more of an emotional character. Oh yeah Terry Vs. Ryu does sound and look better too. Andy fits better with Ken than Kyo does.

Iori is to SNK as Evil Ryu is to CAPCOM? Perhaps. What about Akuma?
