It's a simple question.

Can you play English home carts on a Japanese AES?

If so do you need a converter, or can you just plug 'em in and play em?

Thanks.

Plug and play. It will be in Japanese though.

The carts are universal, while the county of origin determines the language displayed.

any cart on a japanese system=game in japanese

any cart on an english system=game in english.

Since most of the (newer) games have an in-game option to switch languages, this isn't a big deal...
And you get the jap. uncensored 'red blood' in the games, too!
