Yea I made it to level 5 but died against the spaceship in the middle of the level. It's a pretty tough game. Really cool how it mixes elements from the other 3 parts. This is, by far, the best Neo game I've played.

Metal Slug 3 is, without a doubt, a masterpiece. We are all quite lucky to have gotten it on home cart, its just incredible. The music, backgrounds, vehicles, enemies, animation, sound effects, touches of humor, all come together to create a magnificent game, one of the best available for the Neo.

Hopefully, new MS3 MVS kits will be coming soon <IMG SRC="smilies/drool2.gif" border="0">, and when they do, they'll ease this ridiculous shortage currently going on. At $300 or less per kit (I hope), they'll be affordable enough for a lot of people to pick up. I'll be there in line to get two kits as soon as possible, one for myself and one for my local arcade operator, who is still running my MSX MVS cart right now . . . <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

I remember in Gamefan, ECM going nuts over the fact that not a single frame of animation was missing...is this true? Does it look that good?

Yeah ECM is right, This game is a nice piece of work. None of the slowdown that plagued Slug 2 is even in this badboy. Game is a total challange for ANY Action/Shooter fan. Hope you enjoy the game as long as I have. It really is worth the purchase. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

LOL!!! Gameboy Advance MS3? I dont think so!! That would be pure shit, dont get me wrong the GBA kicks ass. I love it, great shit, but It cant completley emulate it! And besides, SNK wont be seen dead dealing with Nintendo. (cept for Ikiri Warriors. Great NES games) As for a DC version, probly not. SNK is gonna try to stay to the AES release.

Taking it out of the case (click) shuffling through the manual (shuffleshuffle) kissing the homecart (smack!) setting it every so carefully into your AES (cart going into AES sounds) and that on-off switch being switched to on (click) METAL SLUG... 3!!!

Once again the Metal Slug series proves that you don't need prissy 3D polygons or a 128 bit graphics engine to make a masterpiece of a game. MS3 leaves no doubt that this game is part of one of the greatest series on ANY platform.

what gba is awesome! I havent played wonderswan but I got myself a gba on the launch date and it's awesome. Castlevania and Super Dodge ball are great and the upcoming kof game looks great. Actually, we could consider DC games to be mainstream. While we got some notable dc 2-d masterpieces as well. (Not the teentosterone mainstream)
My true hate is for sony, the bastards make gaming to commercial. They also have no place in gaming.
And rely on other developers as there cruch.
No talent, is what they got.
Should have stuck with the appliance BS in the firs place.

Why not just get a snes again.

I mean, who actually uses a gba for what it's for?? It's portable. Do you sit indoors playing it??? Isn't that a bit silly??

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably get one in the end, maybe to play on the bog.

but when does anyone actually use them, when what they do is copy console games??
