well I'm sure you already know, but as every second passes the US KOF2k approximately goes up $.75. The next couple of years it could easily be well over $1,000,000.

Forget it about SS becoming rare.

Everybody owns them, at least the 1st 2 games.Maybe III and IV might get some value, but there's quite of them in circulation.

I reckon aes carts which are being released now in very short quantities will be the ones that are going to shoot over the roof such as kof2001. i know at the moment they are going for arond 250 to 300 bucks but mark my words this time next year on ebay they will be fetching about 450 to 500 easily. even now after a year or so motw is still at a high price and it was not that much at its releases date.

I don't think so.
Look at KOF2K AES (JPN) as example. It used to claimed the last SNK Neo home cart and price never went over $300 for used copy.

Right now brand new is around $179 and used between $120 - $130
