Sonic Wings Limited?

Has anyone heard anything about this game? I have both of the SW games and I have never heard of this game. A new emulater runs it(or at least lists the game.) Does anyone know anything about it/or know anything about a location where I could download the rom? <IMG SRC="smilies/spock.gif" border="0">

Are you sure? I mean I'm not doubting you, but all I've heard of is Sonic Wings Special for SS and PS, which I have a pictures of. I found a Sonic Wings Special soundtrack, picture of that too, but have never been able to determine what it's for.

edit: What I meant to say, was that I found a Sonic Wings Limited soundtrack, but never one to SWS.

I thought he's talking about SW Special.

I believe that Sonic Wings Limited is an arcade only (no home ports) sequel to Sonic Wings 3. It was only released (officially anyway) in Japan I believe. Also, it runs on a seperate PCB (not MVS), just like the first Sonic Wings. It is the most rare game in that particular series.

I found an issue of Gamest with a brief look at Sonic Wings Limited.

I don't know what to make of it. Because you see, they only have screen shots of the first stage, Kyoto, which has definitely undergone some changes since Aero Fighters 2. It sort of looks like what someone described Sonic Wings Special as to me, but I really can't be sure. I suppose it's possible that SWS is a home version to SWL but, I'm just speculating here, because I don't know which came first (SWL was '96 or early '97) and the Video System web site has dick on a stick about most of their past games. All they care about now is their Formula 1 game-making license. Oh and I did try checking on KLOV but I'm being told that the site is either inaccessible, or dead.

was basically a cross between wings 2 & 3..

as in....parts and levels from 2 & 3 together...

some minor changes...

I spoke to someone who has SWS, and I believe he said that is had missions from all 3 Aero Fighters games, and you could play any pilot on any mission, no matter whether they were originally in that game. Also, if you beat the game with someone in particular, or anyone was it?, there is stuff that gets un-locked. I'll dig up the e-mail later and see if I've remembered much of this correctly.
