How many people actually think this MS 3 re-release is going to happen?

This topic might have been beaten to death but- I wanna know how many people actually think this MS 3 re-release will actually happen?

Just for the record- I already have MS 3 and have also pre-ordered at NCS just to show support for SNK but have my doubts about this re-release.

I am not SURE it is going to happen. I'm just not thinking about it, that way, if it DOESN'T happen, no big deal.

NCS is a really reputable, experienced dealer, and has alot of dealings with SNK in the past, so the fact that they are saying it could happen is enough to get me to pre-order.

It is odd that they're the only American dealer who is talking about it though.

SHAWN - - if you happen to read this, can you please tell us if you've heard anything new????

I think it is likely, especially when you consider that NCS alone is ordering something like 360 carts. Demand for this game has been very high, and the arcade carts have completely dried up. SNK will more than likely already be producing a new batch of the arcade carts, so they might as well run a batch of home ones as well.

I originally bought two MS3 carts, sold one a week ago on Ebay, but I also PREORDERED ANOTHER one from NCS!! I'm trying to do my part to increase demand, just as I did on the first round. If it doesn't happen, it won't be a problem for me, but for all the others who never got this incredible game, it would be a shame. <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

Hey I'll tell you all I know. (Not that anyone really listens to me)

I did hear that SNK is taking pre-orders NOT to feel out the market. They are placing just as many orders as there are pre-orders, no more and no less. Of course, there is a minimum amount of orders to be reached. Is it the magical number 2000? Who knows? That is about it if that helps.

This is what I heard nothing is CONFIRMED. Only way I can confirm it is if I call SNK of Japan and talk to them myself <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">

yes SNK is going to reproduce MS3.
why doubt it?
i think ncs accepting preorders was
the straw that broke the camels back
ncs has stong ties to asian distributors
and would not be taking preorders
if it was evident it was not coming out.
ncs also confirmed that they were going
to purchase SNKs reproductions of NEOpocket
games to be release around the same time
as MS3..
personally i kinda wish they would reproduce
metal slug one...
man... that would be
cool...

The Neo Store will not take preorders of MS3 until SNK of Japan is paid in full for the reproduction. When SNK began soliciting purchase orders, we promptly offered to purchase 500 copies and pay the full asking amount in advance. Quite a bit of time has passed, still nothing solid.

Any word if VGD, NCS, Cart-Mart, DR-Games, NeoAyato, or any other retailer has been able to pay SNK yet? If so, this would confirm SNK’s commitment to this project. If not, then this reproduction is nothing more than a rumor.

I Don't Belive It will. MS 3 is like a legend and in some cases certain ROM'S are never release on the web.

I want to believe that MS3 will be re-released. neobuyer, not only NCS are accepting pre-oders; actually I have found another 2 web pages from Japan of shops accepting pre-orders for 238$ (a little bit less than NCS). If I find them again I will post them so TonK can see it with his own eyes <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I had some problems pre-ordering a couple myself Shawn. I ordered about 15 copies and they were really demanding for the money. I bought them at dealer's price which is a little bit cheaper then NCS (not by much). Lets just cross our fingers. <IMG SRC="smilies/drool.gif" border="0">

I want to preorder a ms3, but im confused. Ncsx says to send them an email if you would like to reserve a copy, but i can find no email address on the site. The "contact us" link only registers you for some kind of news letter. Do i actually have to buy the game (and pay the $268 up front) to preorder or can i just reserve. If anyone knows or has an email address for someone at ncs id appreciate it. thanks

check thier news links on the front page. one of them will mention the ms3 re-release which has an email address link to preorder it with. You dont have to pay upfront with ncs. They have you pay when they get the item in stock ready to ship. So you have to pay 0 money until they get it in stock. Now, GO PREORDER!

but the demand for ms1 isnt that high. The only other game that should be rereleased in terms of demand is garou. then we need new games. I need twinkle star sprites so that emu ver can go to rest.
