Opinions about Ragnagard please

Hey guys, after reading a review of Ragnagard in Kazuya’s website and seen some screens of it I was looking to find out more about it. I would like to know the opinion of people who has played it, I want to know if it is worth to play it or is it just worth as a collectible.

I played it the other day at a friend's of mine, but I thought it was totally whack.

I got tired of it within 5 minutes. And that's saying something. Man, I even love World Heroes 2 Jet, so it's not that I'm too demanding I'd say.

But maybe there are people who actually so like it ?

Actually, I like it quite a bit. It definately is 1 of the Neo's stranger fighting games. WAaaaaaaaaaaaay different than the normal KoF or SamSho type of game. It does have some really sweeeeet backgrounds & music aswell. The gameplay is, hmmm, different. It does allow for air combos because you can air dash. Some decent characters aswell. Has your average amount of moves to go with it.

Mainly fun in 2 player mode. It's good to play for about 30min or so. 100% worth the $30 MVS price tag (don't pay anymore than that) I paid for it. If you're looking for a FUN & not so serious fighters, than you may like it aswell. If more time or a sequal was released that was more polished, than I think THAT would've kicked ass.

For me, GALAXY FIGHT is still the BIGGEST, stinkiest pile O'SHIT to come across the ne for fighters. I would rate Ragnagard 100x better than that gawd awfull pos!!!

Forget about it!! This game is just plain horrible!...to look at, to play, to own!!! Sorry, I'd like to be more positive, but unlike many other awful neo games (LOSJ, Ganryu etc.) this doesn't even have the "kitch" 2-d quality that the others posses. Everything about Ragnaguard/Shin-Oh-Ken is just plain WRONG, it was made at a time when the Sega Saturn / Sony Playstation were born, when 2d games were an embarresment (not retro - chic), and developers were experimenting with all sorts of new-fangled graphical styles, which have mostly been ditched since then. I bet most of the people that were responsible for making Ragnagaurd have kept it quiet to their friends. If your really curious still, try it out.............but don't buy it!!! loco
