I don't have any of the newer Playmore carts yet, but Hopefully I can get Matrimelee if I save up for a month....

Anyways, What I want to know is - Do the Playmore carts still have the SNK mark on the back? and is the cart casing the same quality as the SNK ones?

And do the game cases still say SNK inside the case and on the front near the lock?

Yes new carts have the SNK mark in the back, and
snaplock cases are of the same quality.

And yes the snaplock cases have the SNK letters
inside.

I highly suspect that's because SNK either had an excess of clamshell cases when they went under, or Playmore doesn't have enough money to produce more molds...

It's nice seeing the SNK for traditions sake, but I'd like to see a 'Playmore' stamped on the case as well.

But why though. Playmore is already a huge company. This show's that Playmore is moving SNK forward by at least keeping it as a brand.

I also believe that these were left over SNK snaplocks. The newer games do not say SNK anywhere on the carts, inserts, manuals at all.

If you look at the back of CvS2 for xbox, you'll see "SNK is a trademark of Playmore corporation"

SNK is much more well known term then "Playmore."
You won't be seeing Playmore vs Capcom. The SNK on the back of the carts presents no problem for Playmore, so there is no reason to change the mold.

Wrong check the back of the KOF2002 and ROTD
carts, they both say SNK Made in Japan.
