Rage of the Dragons dominates!!!!! I love the game.

Combos, mid air blocking, tag team super moves! I got the game about a week ago, and it has been in my Neo ever since.

Johann is a pain though!

Love the game overall.

I have the home cart, but have an MVS kit on the way now so I can play it on my cab.

I agree, I think it is a lot of fun to play and the combos are a gas to pull off. Certainly some large numbers you can come up with.

Ryogeo, you are right.

The combos are easy to pull off, probably why I like it so much.

I cant handle the complicated crap!

AMEN! ROTD rocks. Maybe Capcom will take note on how a tag fighter is supposed to be. Instead of this hyper cartoon scrub crap. The whole Marvel series was rubbish.

Wow! yay, there is someone else who likes rage of the dragons. I just got mine about a week ago as well, but I have only ever seen people talk crap about it. I love the combos as well, i can get some wicked ones going with pepe and jimmy, I can almost drain someones life bar(about 90%) with one combo from either of them. Lynn is also very cool. oddly enough though I cannot beat johann. I have almost done it about three times, but it is hard to get close to him  .

Man I want this game but its to damn high for me right now, I wish it would come to the DC but it doesn't look like it cause it would have been out by now, so I guess I'm just gonna have to save up.

I too, love Rage of the Dragons.

Especially the music, which is uncommonly good IMO.

I bought it on its release, and I'm still playing it months later. I've only beaten Johann a couple of times however...

Interesting... Anyways I'm glad you guys all love the game.

ROTD is a blast...for a while.

It lost some of it's charm since I bought it (probably due to my lack of human competition), but I still pop it in my cab every now and then.

Best thing it has going for it is that it plays very differently than any other fighter, so it's unique in it's own way. The emphasis on the "First Impact" is pretty amusing, it's nice to turn a match around with the press of two little buttons.

Only real gripe I have is once you get used to the engine, the game is really easy to beat. And even Johann, although incredibly cheap at first, has an easily readable pattern, so once you get the hang of it, he's toast.

RotD is a damn fine game, despite one or two niggles. (some slightly cack backgrounds and a rubbish training mode)

It has decent enough animation, a good mixture of characters (lots of females too drool_2 )and a lot of interesting 'up front'combat features, like tagging, CD combos, CD counters, Sacrificing characters and some other stuff as well.

And the music. Its either as good as, or better than KoF'96. Certainly some of the best tunes to come out of the Neo soundchip in a while.
Speech samples could have been better though........
