please help!!!!

im gonna buy a neo geo cd... and i want to know one thing. rbff2 how bad are the loadin times and does it load between rounds or only between fights?? thanks in advance for any help

let me put it this way: a certain member of this forum made A SANDWITCH while Real Bout 2 was loading.

I'd say...Go for it!! It's not that bad! Dont forget with the cd version you get the added bonus of cd quality sound. The way that the CD system works, it's unnavoidable for it NOT to load the different characters, I just set the match time a bit longer so I get more out of it. loco

sorry...........I didn't answer your question fully! It doesn't load in between rounds, it just has to load if you choose a different character. All the CD games are like this. Last Blade 1&2 are the worst, however if you go into the options menu you can cut out most of the loading in fighting games by choosing the most "Simple" option, also turning on the "demo cut" helps. Two games to avoid for definate though are: Voltage Fighter Gowkaizer, and Savage Reign. There's no way to cut the loading times, and it's soooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!! for every hour of game-time spent you will have only actually played about 25 mins. of that!! loco

Buy a CDZ the price difference is not that much. Playing with the CDZ RB2 has acceptable loading times, in fact is quite fast. I remember I was surprised because as it is a quite new game I expected long loading times, not like LB 1 and 2 these games are unplayable unless you have a lot, but really a lot of patience and you do not mind getting older while you wait for few seconds of fun.
