Yeah and you know that you can ask the seller a question,i asked him why hes selling illegal shit and just threatened that all his crap will be banned off ebay
if he dont stop it.I also stated that he is making the unaware break the law,he should say that his crap is illegal unless you own all the games,so he should at least give someone the choice to break the law or not,he should also state that they are emulators and roms.

That is sickening. It really makes me mad that someone just feels like the ROMS are theirs to sell. Especially as much money as I have sunk into the Neo Geo games myself, not to mention how much you guys have spent. The only roms I have ever used with an emulator is the MAME roms because I simply cannot find a lot of the really obscure games. I own 12 classic arcade games so I figure I have paid some of my dues in that dept. anyway! : ) But to openely sell CDs with the roms has always chapped my hide (hey I'm from Texas so sue me). I reported both of these too. And I agree...CUFF EM' and STUFF EM'!!!!

Ha! what a con selling it,you can get atari 2600 emulators and roms everywhere on the internet,you could download 100 games on that thing in a second its so shite.

Like I said before, people will keep selling ROM's as long as there are people out there dumb enough to buy it (and if they can get away with it) <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">. Its making money off of snk's hardwork. !arcade is doing it and people with rom cds are doing the same thing.

WTF is my problem?? WTF is arcade's problem is the fuckin question. Taking snk hard work (aka the strikers cart) to make a profit off of is wrong and illegal. Thats the fuckin problem.

Your logic is flawed. !Arcade! is using an original Strikers 1945 Plus MVS cart to produce the home cart. So, that is original SNK product. He is then using (supposedly) new PCB boards (not sacs) and shells, to produce the home cart. He has produced his own high-quality insert, cart sticker, and manual to go along with all of that. So he's producing a new product, from the original SNK MVS cart.

ROM Leeches on Ebay are doing NOTHING except burning ROMs onto CDRs. No artwork, no money to original manufacturers, no nothing. Just f**king losers burning ROMs and selling them for their own greedy profit.

!Arcade's! auctions are in absolutely no way comparable to a ROM seller. For every single Strikers 1945 Plus cart that !Arcade! sells, SNK has been paid in the form of the the sale original the MVS cart from which the chips were taken. These carts are converted carts from MVS originals; a repackaging, if you will. There is absolutely no piracy going on here.

Piracy is when COPIES OF A PROTECTED PROPERTY are made (many times inferior to the original) and sold as the authentic item. !Arcade's! Strikers cart is NOT a copy. It is an MVS cart original that has been dressed (quite well, I might add) in home cart clothing.

Also, !Arcade! is not saying his product is official SNK or anything of the like. He's making (converting) them because there is a market.

ROM sellers do nothing of the sort. They DL stuff of the 'net, compile it and sell it for profit. Profit to which they are absolutely not entitled. Such activity is not even in the same universe as converting and dressing up carts. !Arcade's! method gets SNK paid. ROM sellers method is that of a leach. Dude's the fact is !Arcade is making a profit off of strikers. Even if they do buy the mvs cart doesnt mean what they are doing is right. They arent selling the mvs cart, they are selling a converted cart with snk artwork all over it to make a profit. The rom seller is downloading roms putting on ebay and selling it to make profit. Both are not authorized by snk and if you ask me the rom seller isnt hurting snk as much as !arcade and ngf is.
