Awwwwwww yeah!
I propose Shodown 2002. This shall be a Neo get-together in the same vain as Shodown '99. I live in upstate NY (Ithaca area); this location would be ideal for me, as I am a broke college student who can't even afford comparatively cheap Neo carts. However, I do have an Japanese AES modded for A/V with 10 classic titles (KOF '94, Fatal Fury Special, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting 1 & 2, Samurai Spirits 2, Dunk Dream, Joy Joy Kid, Riding Hero and 3 Count Bout.). I also have a pinball machine (Space Odyssey by Williams). I also have Bust a Move 4, Crazy Taxi and MOTW for the DC, as well as a Neo Pocket and many, many other systems, including NES, Master, Genesis w/CD and 32X, PS1, and Atari 2600. There's enough games to go around.
Also, bring some anime if you want; I'm good to go with DVD, VCD or VHS. This is all on a 27" Sharp TV BTW. If everyone who attends brings a game or two, we are guaranteed to kick it in a manner befitting the title of "oldskool."
So whaddayasay, people? Shall we give it a go? I'm sure this thread will generate some discussion.
