Source for Neo Candies in So. California?

I've been thinking of selling my AES stuff and going with a cabinet. Apparently there is no shortage of Neo Candies here on the west coast, so I was just wondering if anyone knew a good, reliable and cheap source for them. I would also prefer if I could pick the candy up myself. I don't really need a shiny new one, just one that works and won't give me any grief. Maybe a 2 slot?

If I sold my AES games and system (which is a puny collection compared to most of your's) I would probably get around $600 for everything. That doesn't mean I'm willing to spend that much though, I do want to get a couple of games with the cabinet. Anyone have any suggestions or tips? Thanks in advance for the help.

Oh yea, one more thing. Could anyone give me the dimensions on a candy. I need to know if I could even fit the thing through my doorway. Thanks...

I found both of mine by searching eBay auctions for SoCal sellers and then calling the ones that were being sold by stores.

They're usually interested in quick sells.

All my cabs have easily fit through my standard sized door.

Bobak,

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you end up paying for them? Also, How many slots were they or did you buy them without the neo pcb? Thanks.

I bought one for $250 (Neo-MVS 4 slot), the other for $200 (cab-only).

If you search around you can find real steals. Another technique would be to look for some predominantly Asian arcades (there's a few in Little Tokyo as well as some in Alhambra) and see if you can strike a deal with the operator to buy a unit without the game.

Wow, not bad... Thanks Overfiend fan!

(those prices aren't the cheapest, but aren't exorbinant either... $350 is a fine price for a neo cab!)

There's my MVS cab (but they want $500 for it): http://www.arcade-infinity.com/galsnkneogeomvs291.htm

If they're new, then that may be a great price (mine was straight out of an arcade)

None of those prices are correct. You have to email them for a correct price list and availability. :D

Alright... I'm definitely not looking for one of these this year, but maybe somewhere down the road... in the meantime, I know the Candy are the sit-down version, can any of you list the exact differences between the following (taken from the website):

Super Neo 29
Super Neo Candy
Neo Candy
Neo 29
Neo 25
MVS 25

I saw pics of some in the gallery, but they looked too similar to tell apart.

The numbers refer to the screen size... they're all big, so don't worry too much about that. I haven't seen each in action, but let me assure you that the cheaper ones run well -I imagine the more $$$ models are either more recent models or better sound (but not necesarily both).
