LOL, we got some real jewels here. Looks like by promoting this auction Briggs you caused a conversion frenzy. I thought it only had one bid at $1 when I first looked at it, about an hour ago. Now it's up to $202 with four bids. Someone from here really wants this cab. LOL, you know, it could actually be a pretty cool conversion if the guy actually put some heart into it. That's just pathetic as it stands. You guys who are bidding on it, in theory all it would take is a simple wire between the two boards (easily done since the cabs are connected) and you should be able to enjoy all the four player bowling fun you want. If that's why your bidding on it then go for it, just place a paper bag over it when guests arrive.
As for kickass conversions, this little pizza parlor place across the street from you used to have this really cool Neo cab. It looked like it was converted from one of those older TMNT four player sitdown cabs. It only came up to my waist (I'm 6'2") and it had the extra large control panel for four players (only two official-looking player setups were there though, and I didn't see any signs of the other two missing player controls). The funny thing is, this thing looked official. It had black sides and a black top, red around the monitor and the control panel looked just like an US Neo cab (red and white striped, across the entire giant control panel). It had the usual Neo Geo stickers on either side too. No marquees, of course (no room for them). I really wasn't into arcade cabs back then so I really didn't take much notice in it, but looking back that thing was pretty amazing. I had a lot of good times with it (Samurai Shodown and World Heroes were running) and one day it was just gone. I actually knew the owner, who had a heart attack and died while flipping a pizza about three months before the cab disappeared, so I never knew where it went. I don't go there anymore.
