!Arcade! re-starting SNK?

I read a rumor in cloudchaser that SNK is picking themselves out of the ashes of bankrupcy and making games again.

Who is the party that is doing this?

It couldn't B !Arcade!, who is working on the release of Strikers?

Arcade! is for sure doing some nice things for the Neo scene, but as far as I'm concerned, it's still all rumors. I would love to have SNK come back hard, but I'm not going to grasp on to rumors for hope. I think Arcade! is just a great company that wants to support a cult/hardcore system that stands the test of time.

arcade is not SNK...
i do not see them actually helping
SNK by converting all those strikers carts
unless they some how assist
SNK by paying for rights for
the strikers game...
they are just
taking away any chance of SNK
ever producing a true home cart ver
of the game
..
some see as !arcade! being good to the
NEOGEO community.

YES they are doing the community a service..
but i really dont see them
contributing to SNKs recovery
from bankruptacy

i just see them selling a limited run
of games that will only accumulate
in price because
of their
small run
and in the end only contribute
to higher home cart prices.


but hey what do i know..
or at least what does anyone know?
all these people that supposubly
have ties to SNK
never say anything anyways..
i ll definitely be the last to know...
