I bought it at my local EB. Like the charter says in the begining of the issue they cover lots of games that other publications and websites do not. One problem when reading about games on the net(at least for me) I won;t check out a title unless the name or company who put it out catches my eye. A magazine (if you read them cover to cover like me) will expose you to a lot of games you didn't know much about. I highly suggest you all by and support Gamego.
Hell because of them I'm gonna buy Record of Lodoss War and Bangai-o.

Good luck guys with the mag. I'll sub soon

Got my subscription issue yesterday. I couldn't be more pleased. As has been stated, the mag gives some depth to games that otherwise would be passed over. Stretch Panic sounds amazingly weird and very cool. I haven't seen or heard anywhere NEAR this much info on this game before and it's a crying shame, as it looks VERY original.

I've read the thing pretty close to cover to cover at this point and brought it to work today to go through again. Even beyond the content, which is GREAT, I love the quality of the materials they have choosen to use. MAJOR thick and glossy cover and substantial pages inside (that really allow for quality images).

I can only hope that the mag really takes off so we can get a dose on a monthly basis as opposed to ten issues a year.

BTW, I will also be making a point to frequent the businesses that have advertised in GameGo and let them know where I saw their advert. They had a faith in the mag and what it was trying to do before it had even been published, as did all of us other subscribers. I want to be sure and let them know that their faith was rewarded by my business.

Back to the mag. I also very much enjoyed the looks at older stuff, be it through the review of MUSHA or the look at the musicians from Winds/Lords of Thunder. Great stuff.

My only criticism at this point is that HaohmaruGO is just Haohmaru in the mag. I like the "GO" at the end. Haohmaru is in Sam Sho. HaohmaruGO is the guy in the mag. Unless, of course, HaohmaruGO translates into "Haohmaru has a little dick," in Japanese, where I would certainly understand the reason for the name change.

Damn, I had forgotten what a good gaming mag was like! I was suffering through the travesty that is EGM waiting for GameGO! to come out, and I must say, it was worth the wait!

I also noticed that EGM just got a new EIC, who made comments about how they are not worried about competition from magazines where the staff claim to be more hardcore, etc., etc., and how great things are on the way. Sounds like EGM is worried about the competition.

I agree,
It's the kinda mag that reminds you what games were meant to be.

Forget the flash, it's fun I want.

After reading it, I broke out my old copy of Neo Nectaris.

Man that game is fun. I sure wish some of these new games were half as good as that one.
