Considering prices and the scene is long past being dead AES wise, but still lives, what the hell is next? Kizuna encounter 7000+ and MS1 3500 is what I predict in about a years time.

At the current state of things, prices are actually getting worse with each passing day.
Many sources are to blame, but lets put this whole situation into prospective.(80% mark up on Slug JPN)

Low production run of almost all new games.
MS series has literally sky rocketed in price.
Ebay reliant individuals who mark a list up due to a ending bid.

As far as straight out business goes we do have good sources, but if someone can make a 1000+ killing on a cart, most would (sad).
The worst thing is, that a seller would never offer something at a insane price, if he/she did not believe it would sell.

I figure, with the way things are going, this will happen again and again. Whether we like it or not 2000 was a miserable year for the neo. 2K1 is no better, with each passing year things get worse.

Its not just a specefic item either. Look what happened with those new HCS systems, 1000+
I totally agree with "if you dont like, dont buy", but you have to draw the line somewhere.

The community as a whole is becoming more paranoid of whats to come in this scene. Voice your thoughts.

I feel that lately, game prices have gotten a lot higher. What's worse, no one likes it, but everyone's selling it for super high. Look at Waku Waku 7. I can't find anyone selling it for the price everyone's telling me it should be, but I can find very few people selling at all, for more than what people think it should go for. Yeah, I want it, and I will pay "more" if I have to. I'm thinking that Neo is actually gaining in popularity (for a dead system), and that may be why things are getting higher. I'm taking a guess, of course.
