Hello, i posted this in unrelated but i have a feeling that it will never get answered so here we go. Are you planning on making Home cart game cases, becuase i heard that the MVS ones are really good, i have been looking around but i cant find any cheap ones, i think it would be awsome if you made AES cases! Any planes on making em?

Uh . . . um . . . why would he produce "AES" cases when the red MVS cases he's selling will fit BOTH home and MVS carts?

Hes talking about the way the cases line up, in which the shock mvs cases are taller. I think he means he wants and exact replica of the SNK orignal old style cases.

OK, well I think that the whole point of the MVS cases sold by Big Bear is that they can be used for either purpose. I don't think it would be practical or economical for him to try to have actual SNK snap-cases manufactured. The fact that the red MVS/home cases even came out, in my opinion, is a miracle. They're great cases, work very well for the MVS or home carts, either way. I know, I bought 50 of them and shortly will be needing more . . .

Your right, and I agree.
I mean if he did indeed produce actuall exact look alike cases, it will definately confuse the consumer to the thought "are these real cases or not"
Its best to have just the shock ones.

No.
Not cost effective to just sell the case alone.
The only way this could be done is if someone were
to publish a game because you work the cost of the case into the whole presentation(the insert, manual & cartridge).
The AES case would have to be SNAP case quality minus the snap IMO and one case would probably sell for $15 FIRM in order for it to be worth the effort of having them produced.
Alot of people don't understand how this works because price is 'bottom line' with the consumer as it should be but in alot of situations you are at the mercy of the manufacturer's equipment.Sure they can adjust their equipment and re-tool but this will COST YOU BIG-TIME.
I don't know if this is true but our manufacturer told SHOCK that the AES case dimensions were not US standard and the case was created 'IN HOUSE' meaning SNK had their own equipment and did everything 'IN HOUSE'

I just think that more people should be supporting Big Bear's Shock MVS cases, rather than asking for repro home cart cases (which aren't going to happen from him, anyway). I supported him as much as possible, and others should as well. Repro snap cases would be nice, certainly I have some home carts with substandard quality cases, but you can't have everything. Maybe Dion and Chris are sitting on a pile of snap cases, I bet they'd let them go cheap . . . like $50 per case or so. Hehe . . .

CHIMP has supported me 'BIG TIME' with the project from day ONE and I thank YOU!! I have learned a great deal during this experience and I want to thank everyone for their support thus far.
I mean,if you only knew..I've second guessed myself many a day on color coordination and I HOPE to bring out 'BLACK' in the future at the DION price but I'm not making any promises..all I can say is further support of the SHOCK BOX will be in everyone's favor!
I'm not going anywhere! I hardly play anymore but I LOVE this SCENE! It's apart of me and I'd like to continue to be apart of it in any capacity so I mean I'm here and I don't plan on RUNNING OFF after I sell off the cases.
I want this Insert project to EXPLODE.because I LOVE IT!
Thankyou-BB
