Check out this arcade game, <a href="http://www.klov.com/V/Vulgus.html" target="_blank">Vulgus</a>, and tell me what is wrong with that picture. ;)

well, several early capcom games were distributed in the US by other companies: besides Vulgus by SNK, there were also Commando by Data East and Ghosts'n Goblins by Taito...

Vulgus (like many other Capcom games) was subsequently distributed by Romstar, so that you can find different artwork...

<a href="http://www.arcadeflyers.com/strider" target="_blank">www.arcadeflyers.com/strider</a> has the Vulgus SNK manual.

1942 and 1943 were distributed by Romstar. If memory serves, so was Hyper-Dyne Side Arms.

One Putt-Putt location I played Vulgus at had the game in a converted Star Trek cockpit cab.

I think Capcom gave a free download of the game at their site at one time.
