I mean damn he has some nice auctions going on. But then again, his feedback just 9 and all from people just registered with feedback from 1 to 3. He has 3 Neo AES systems, 3 PC Engines 3 Parasonic Q's and allot more listed. This can't be right for those prices. He only has 1 picture for every system (while he lists 3) and he doesn't got any of the games pictured. The Parasonic Q picture looks like a picture from some game event.

Link for the AES:

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1347161195" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1347161195</a>

Neo Geo with Mark of the Wolves alone atleast worth $600 with 4 other games and a system for $250... Also sells another system with KoF 2000 and 4 other games for $250... I guess allot of people are going to get ripped off, or there going to have one of the best deals in there life, but I'm not taking the risk.

No pictures of the games, a/v cables, or power supply. IMHO I too would stay far away from this auction <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" />

Very risky, all his feedback are from new users with (1) rating, and most likely are fake. Stay away from this one.

Gotta agree with Shadowland and Nakoruru. Keep your distance from this fella (and just about anyone with less than 10 positive feedbacks). Instead, why not check out my eBay auctions? (coming next month; feel the heat, BryLMoo!)

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". I can't fathom anyone selling this stuff this cheap. Apparently, many people have the common sense to avoid this auction. This smells bad.

One more thing: why is all his feedback on the date of 4/15/02?

I have also noticed that on each of the 3 auctions there is a least 1 rare or expensive game to entice buyers

#1 garou
#2 World Heroes Perfect/Last resort
#3 King of Fighters 2000

Something fishy <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" /> <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" /> <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" />

And there is no pictures of the games <img src="graemlins/mrt2.gif" border="0" alt="[Mr T]" />

This GUY STINKS. Ok I have been doing things on E-bay for YEARS. NEVER, I MEAN NEVER have I sold 9 things and had 9 feedbacks given, much less RIGHT AWAY. I usually get about 25% of HAPPY CUSTOMERS leaving feedback. He holds an auction for some crap Java program and EVERYONE who won left feedback and EVERYONE has Shades and 1 feedback rating FROM HIM! Scam, or at least I wouldn't want to do business with a cheater.

i love how everyone thinks something is automatically fishy

if i had money (which i dont, cuz i bought a pcfx...) i would bid on that neo with motw

i guess its my trust that i have in the people, and if they fuck with me, i'll follow that good ol internet fraud report and get me money back.

oh and btw, how is someone with 0 feedback ever going to get any with all these people going "i only bid on auctions with a 10 or higher feedback" and even if the feedback is fake, he could have done it so you 10+ feedback bidder lamers would bid on his stuff.

give it a chance

so what if theres no pictures of the av cables or ac? if people werent so retarted, they would realize that an ac and av arent worth that much even if they werent included. which they probably are included, but its such a minor thing to bother including in a picture

i bet he has pics of the games too
email him...

and all feedback from the same day?
maybe he had a bunch of auctions that ended on the SAME DAY

you people make it out to be like hes some sort of HUGE SCAMMER all of a sudden, when you know NOTHING about him

maybe he made packages with the best games so he could SELL THEM...

get over it people

youre all too greedy and paranoid

Only a moron would bid on auctions like those. When dealing with Ebay, its not as simple as just "filing an internet fraud report and getting your money back". If you get ripped off and the seller "disappears", then what do you do? Oh, maybe just hire a lawyer and pay him to take care of it?

With that kind of attitude, you and your money will soon be parted . . . <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

I looked more closely at wkydanny88's auctions:

<a href="http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&userid=wkydanny88&sort=2&page=1&rows=25&since=-1" target="_blank">http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&userid=wkydanny88&sort=2&page=1&rows=25&since=-1</a>

This looks more and more like a major scam in progress to me (thanks chohan for pointing this person's auctions out). There are 3 separate auctions for each system (DC, PS2, Neo, GC, Q, etc.), which amounts to a lot of money in total. Also, the seller has a VERY suspicious feedback history:

<a href="http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=wkydanny88" target="_blank">http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=wkydanny88</a>

Each "buyer" that left feedback for wkydanny88 was created ON THE SAME DAY, April 9, 2002. Each "buyer" left feedback for wkydanny88 ON THE SAME DAY, April 15, 2002. Each buyer has ONLY ONE feedback rating, from wkydanny88.

This seller's auctions have been reported to Safe Harbor. I hope they can prevent a major scam from being pulled off, but there isn't much time . . . and I hope that argentina94 (one of our members, who bid on one of the auctions) is aware of this situation as well. Looks like a big ripoff in the works . . . <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" /> <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

Good call, Chimp. You assessment looks right on to me. Having been scammed on eBay for $300, I can ASSURE you, it is NOT as simple as filing some report to get your money back.

Sonic, it's great that you have such faith in people, but you will be stung, and soon, if you miss the kinds of signs these people have found. GOod luck out there. :)

Its pretty sad really to make money from ripping other people off, if this is the case. I'm going mad if he is a reliable seller, but I really really doubt it.

Hope the ebay staff will fish it out...

Umm we all started at 0 and the reason people dont bid on anyones stuff until the get Feedback is beacause of ALL THE SCAMMERS! Its not hard to get started. Sell a few cheap things, send emails to the people after the transaction is done and ask them to please leave feedback.

He is stacking the deck for something. I sent the High Bidder (a member here) of the Neo an email with a link to this thread. Then they can retract there bid if they choose.

If it smells like shit, looks like shit, its .....

WTF?! This guy is definitely up to something! His 9 auctions are for "codes", and you get feedbacks like this:

item as described.smooth transaction A+++++++ebayer

wonderfule transaction, baby really enjoys cds, thanks AAA++++++++++++++

Got item extremely quickly! We were amazed at speed of delivery!!! A+++

"Got item as described"? All of the auctions ended early too. Even I like to trust people, most of the time overly too much, but this stinks. Considering the fact that he sold "codes", and now he's offering high dollar video game systems and games. I'm glad I'm not bidding on any of this stuff.

Folks, DO NOT BID ON THIS SCAMMERS' auctions, it's guaranteed scam, all auctions end within a 4-hr period, and I bet all the fake accounts are the same person.

With a great sigh of relief and thanks to Shiftyfink for his timely e-mail, I've successfully retracted my bid for the items in question.

I thought the opening bid was simply that, an opening bid. When no one else bid and only 1 day remaining, I too felt suspicious that the bid remianed so low. He has two ther Neo sets for the same bid an when I saw this thread (thanks for the link, Shifty) I DID check the sellers feedback. Sure enough, the word SCAM was my first thought upon seeing such obviously bogus feedbacks.

Earlier I asked the seller if the games were japanese or US and aside from King of the Monsters, all were jap. I used that for my retraction excuse (saying I wanted them all to be US versions), and bailed out.

Thanks to all my good friends on these boards for pointing out my near-costly mistake. This is DEFINITELY a community that cares for it's brethren. I'll surely try to be more careful in the future. ;)

I'm glad everythings sorted out

Recently with all thats been happening in the Neo scene with Kyokugen Star, Elizabeth A + Dark Jessica to name but a few i am shiting bricks with every ebay + Neo transaction.

I just won MS3 on ebay and i could have got it a little cheaper on other ebay auctions, but it was Shawn who was auctioning it off as NEW and in all honesty i know that i can trust Shawn and everything that was mentioned in his auction - i know its true and its not a fucking bootleg

Now i will only deal with the guys i have already bought stuff from and i am a bit apprehensive about other sellers

Its a fucking grim day in the Neo forums when other guys know that its an expensive hobby and they try to exploit that as much as they can.

I hope that twat doesn't sell any of his stuff and that ebay pull the plug

I'm getting my AES system from Carlson (16bits). I hear he's pretty trustworthy and don't see a problem so far. I just hate it when people get screwed on ebay. Such a good resource badly used can be a scary thing indeed...

Big time scam. All 9 raters each have one positive themselves. And the all sent feedback on the same day?!?! They all have shades. What are the odds.
