the prices are for japan initially.
the price wouldnt fly for lots of arcade vendors
here in the US. few arcades really do that well.
it ll drop a little while after.

Man that is hi though for a new MVS release... I mean even KOF2K and KOF2K1 were around $800 - 1000 on release... hmmm, I guess SNK thinks this is going to be a HUGE game, or, Buyrite is over pricing it $400 or so dollars... hehe, probably the later,

Buyrite scalping combined with the already high MVS-debut price.

(remember, MVS games are like rental VHS tapes: They're much more expensive since people are buying them to make money off of them).
