Has *anyone* played Crystal of Kings?

This game seems right up my alley (2D graphics, side-scroller, medieval setting, etc). Has anyone played it yet?

I know Mouse_Master has played it, and I believe Chimpmeister has as well. From my initial discussion about it with Mouse_Master, I want to get a Crytal System and Crystal Of Kings, as I am a huge fan of side-scrolling beat-'em-ups. I just hope they make a series out of it, like Knights Of Valour on the PGM.
