GAMERS VS. COLLECTORS

Alright, speak up for those who just collect and suck big nutz at the games. What I'm talking about are those who have every freaking game in their collection, but have no clue on how to play the game or just suck jizz nutz at them.

I will be the first to admit that I'm pretty good at most fighting games, but blow big balls with puzzle games.

Besides Jason Wilson, I don't know anyone else on the forums that play heavy competition in fighters, besides myself, so all you sorry asses, show your face. <img src="graemlins/tickled.gif" border="0" alt="[Tickled]" />

So are you really good at the games you buy or you just collect them to show as museum pieces?

Oh, if you proclaim yourself and expert an a particular fighting game, please list them, because I want to come over and teach you a lesson. Damn that coffee.

I'm almost 70% collector and 30% player...

I'm trying now to learn very well the KOF series and Garou...

Well, I'd dare say nearly all of my carts aren't museum quality and I've at least tried to play most of them (<a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/reviews/minasan/mahj-mno.htm" target="_blank">example</a>).

I'd say my fighting game skills are with KOF2k (but I'm by no means an expert, the kids in little Tokyo taught me that), Samuari Shodowns, and FF Special. I very rarely get to compete with anybody.

I really dig the puzzle games.

I`d sys 50 - 50 with me. I regularly play all my carts. I think I`m not too bad at fighting games - only lost 2-3 on KoF `01 to a couple of crazy Japanese Otaku fighting maniax in Japan recently.

I am pretty good at Samurai Shodown. I finished it a number of times on MVS setting without using continues. I also beat Magician Lord a couple of times back in the day.

In my case I can not really make this clear, but I try!

I only collect those games I think they are worth to be collected. That means I intensivly play any NeoGame I own. Now people think he is a gamer, why does he not use the cheaper MVS!

That´s exactly the thing I hate about. Gamers MVS - Collectors AES.

I think each AES Game should be in the shelve of who can handle it and really appreciates it. Simly to whom it belongs to! Like a Medal!

That´s why I am really pissed off of the prices. Because some people think:

"I have money! I am a god! Because money is the power to change things. Like the Neo Prices! Then only the Bourgeois of my kind have access to them, while the little ones - freaks or not - lost all the way!"

How shitty this material world is!

Soul Calibur
Vampire Hunter

Well only the Hard core fighters Got em all, and Im no collector Im a True Gamer, but I can say this much The only win win your going to get Against me is the warm up Fight Im going to give you so you have no excuse after that, I accept your Challenge, maybe Shawn can set up a Tournament of some Kind, I live in Ny but I will travel.

55%C - 45%P simply because I have games that I know are good but I haven't gotten around to playing them - example: Lunar & Lunar 2 (PSX), Super Puzzle Figher II Turbo (Sat), KoF Evolution (DC), G-Darius (PSX), shyt like that. I'm not a collecting whore that buys for say-so value, I make a purchase knowing I'm going to get some quality gamin out of the title. As for what I play? - just about everything. I dig fighting, shooting, action, adventure, puzzle, simulation, gun games, rpg, etc. The shyt I stay away from is racing games.

MvC2 is an unbelievably cheap game though. It's a complete runaway game with Cable, for those who use him.

100% gamer when it comes to Neo.
(probably 70% gamer/30% collector for other systems like Saturn)

I'm not too bad at the fighting games, but there's a couple of locals that always kick my ass at them..

I tend to do much better at the shooters & puzzle games.

I've seen lots people say "I'm a gamer" bla bla bla

But they rarely touch their video games.
They just want to "have" them and that's about it.

A lot of people in here are talking about "This title will be rare", "I have to have this title because price is going up" and other bullshits.
