i had to bring this up after getting my copy of last blade 2 for dreamcast in the mail today

i cant help but notice in almost every 2d game i ever played in the arcade or on neo alot once you get the home version it kinda looks strange..maybe this is the resolution change or somthing...but it just looks weird like somthing is not quite right...but after some time playing u get used to it and stop noticing it

ive been seeing this since i first got a copy of street fighter alpha for psx

does anyone else notice this?

From my experience it seems to be that way for any game I played at the arcade, 2d and 3d. I guess we must be overwhelmed that we are actually playing it in our house and maybe thats why something doesn't seem right, who knows. But I do know I feel the same way you do. :)

Since I was never a big arcade buff, I don't really notice any change............and that's good news to me............

Yes I noticed the same thing once I bought Metal Slug 3. When I would play it in the arcade it seemed normal but when I got home and played it I noticed extra sound effects and different movements, sometimes-different placement for enemies. So I guess it’s either I’m not noticing in the arcade because I’m distracted or there really are some differences. I just wonder why.
