Make your own AES II:
-neo geo mvs PCB
-Jamma harness
-PC power supply
-moded DB-15 plugs
-RGB to s-video converter
-mod chip form Jeff kurtz

Basically from what I have heard an aes II is a dedicated supergun with a built in MVS board with homecart features. Installing a new switchable bios will allow you to access all of the homecart features. Want to play other Jamma games? Pop off the Jamma harness and connect it to the Jamma board. The only feature that a setup like this would lack is the ability to play homecarts. Correct me if I am wrong this seems doable.

You can't plug home cart's into a mvs pcb. Also the AES II has a slot for mvs and another one for aes. But your idea is a good way to play mvs game with the home options.

Like i have said before , Arcade must have made a HC to MVS converter and installed it in the MVS board. Otherwise, yeah it would be simple to make what they have.

YOu know though if you really think about it, Isn't that all a NGH system is.

An MVS board with the abilty to play NGH games on it with the Home bios.

Well, yeah, that's essentially correct, but the home system's board has a much smaller form factor.

Oh, so you haven't seen the newer style neo one slots boards

yeah I know the form factor is smaller on a NGH system board as compared to the older 1 slot boards but the point I was making is the Neo system is more a redeisgned mvs board then a new system. Much like !arcades! new system will be. It will more then likely be cheaper then the setup descriped in the begining of the post and also have a smaller form factor.
