It's true that there are more and more non-Neo fans coming to this site, that includes me, but I originally just browsed as a guest and didn't sign-up until I got my AES system. Now a good portion of my monthy video game budget is dedicated to the Neo-Geo and NGPC until I get all the games that I want for my collection. I'm a non-Neo fan in that I don't want every single cart available, I just want the most creamy games for the Neo. And no, that doesn't mean just the games that are over $300, hell I don't even want a Slug or Slug 2 all that much. It wasn't until a few months ago that I first played MOTW, LB 2, Slug anything, KoF, Blazing Star, etc.
These boards boards my be cluttered but since I've joined the group I've become more edjucated on what the Neo-Geo scene what it's all about. The difference between AES & MVS, Cabs, Superguns, games I've never experienced before, and the great life span and history the system has. The greatest thing about the system is it's fans and I'm thankful to (through these forums) meet and communicate with other people who enjoy gamin just as much as I do. Unfortunately, peoples views on video games change with time.
Those who are die-hard Neo-Geo loyalists one minute only to leave the scene or move on to MVS the next does not shock me. It's just depends on where the place video games in the order of their life. Those that love the Neo go MVS, those that have grown tiresome and can't relate with someone else (in life, not online) what Neo is all about then of course they'll eventually sell all they got. JMHO.
