Help with KOF storyline

I'm writing about the KOF storyline for a swedish zine. It would be very appreciated if some of you people here could help me with some facts.

Some say that AOF was the first game to have something with KOF to do, but wasnt Fatal fury first?

A list over KOF-related games would be appreciated.

Fatal Fury 1 was the first "KOF"-related game, but Geese was in AOF2.
