Man, I was SMOKIN' this game today! Kain is one tough S.O.B. BTW, it's the DC port.

You know in Garou I think you're really going about kicking the AI's ass the wrong way. I find Kain to be a very weakass boss in terms of SNK games.
The best way to totally kick his ass is do jump over him and do early jumping kicks. The AI will usually do his Air move and try to hit you with it missing all the time.
For me with Gato I do a early jumping D, Land, Rush in, Standing C, qcb+d, B For the juggle, qcf x2 for the Patented Goverment Cheese Neck Snap.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
Congrats on your win and try to work harder on your combos. It's easy to do once you buckle down & do it.
