Boxed Super Neo, should I go for it?

For $675 I get a fully modified Japanese AES system, with S-video output, gold plated stereo output and a debug chip installed, S-Video cable, and stereo RCA Cables. I've been waiting a long time to have enough money to buy myself a Neo-Geo, so is this a good deal? And should I go and buy it?

I wouldn't say it's a good deal. But then again, I'm a cheap bastard. Honestly, you can buy a boxed neo for $350 and get all those mods done to it for $100.

Buy your Neo from here:

<a href="http://www.mad-gear.com" target="_blank">www.mad-gear.com</a> (carlson's a GREAT guy)

and then take it to one of the many on there that do mods. NeoGeo2k2 did mine, and it's a great job!

$675 to me, is kind of steep. Like spike said there are cheaper ones. Have you check eBay, or better yet, check the selling forum. You are bound to find a great deal there.

$600 can get you a brand new Neo AES
Well, I agree with rest of people here that don't spend more than $400 for Super Neo

I got my "Super" Neo for $320 so $675 sounds a bit expensive.

$675.00 = Assreaming.

That means you like to be fucked up the ass without even so much as having your balls fondled. Unless you're a collector, Get an Unboxed system and get it modded from many various sources. :)
