Any online sites sell Neo Geo units? I saw the neo store but i dont want a full mod.


If anything i would only want a mod to have S video and the ability to play usa and import games. (not sure if standard neos do this)


Anyone know of any?
How much should i expect to pay for a neo geo unit?


I already got a bunch of games bought but no neo-geo.


I dont want to use ebay cause i rather use my something thats more safe and secure. And the plus about using a credit card is i can call my card company to report theft vs paypal who to me aint secure.

I seen <a href="http://www.buyrite1.com" target="_blank">www.buyrite1.com</a> and they got neos but looking a alternative and reliable source.

Check with 16 Bit here at the forum or check his website at <a href="http://www.mag-gear.com," target="_blank">www.mag-gear.com,</a> I'm pretty sure he's got some NGH decks. Also , check with NeoBomberman or BIG BEAR. All of them are top notch sells, as anyone here will tell you. Also, the Neo is not region specific, so you can play Japanese games on a US deck and vise verca. Good hunting.

I really recommend you get a mod for your Neo.Its well worth the price to have your home system have all the MVS options.

I also recommend Neo Bomber Man, but I don't know if he's selling currently.

As for ebay, I've bought 3 systems there (all with games), and never had a problem. The best deals are there. For example, a few months ago I bought a U.S. system with memory card, 2 sticks and 11 games (which included Street Hoop, BBS2, and Windjammers) for $400 shipped.

Just buy from someone with high feedback if you're still not sure.

that's where I got my Neo Geo cart system from with 3 games for just 300 bucks. It's worth a shot scouring through, but of course half the people put it at outrageous offers.

Can someone explain to me what all the mods are , and what they do? Maybe if i had a better understanding I wouldnt be to scared to buy the 499 neo from the neo store...

You really dont need the mods... their nice but not needed.
S-Video mod... better picture
Stero sound - exacly what it claims but this can be done throught the headphone jack w/o mod
Bios mod - gives you fun little things to mess w/ when playing games sort of like a game shark.

You can play any region game on any system.
I have a Japanese system and can play American or Euro games on it.
Same with if you have the American system.
Main difference. American systems have censorship on the games. IE... Mai does not bounce... or no blood on samurai showdown.
