revisiting MD game sales..... new opinions

These people... or whatever they are, have the worst email response I've ever seen. I've only gotten a fraction of the emails that I should have from them so far in dealing with them. If you email these bastards about something without buying a game on ebay from them, they won't even reply. Now that I did that, they still aren't replying. I'm pretty pissed off at these people. That stuff better be in damn nice condition and get here soon, or I'm leaving a negative feedback on them. <img src="graemlins/envy.gif" border="0" alt="[Envy]" />

EDIT: I've changed my mind... slowly, since I now know a bit about them. Still, I'm a tad worried.

EDIT: Well, got my first mail from Mike himself. Seems like a nice guy. will be getting a boot, but he's being cool about it. Yeah, I wasn't talking to Mike this whole time. Well, not talking to anyone for that matter! lol

DAMN!! I just bought and paid for a 4-slot MVS and Real Bout Special MVS from them on Ebay. I also have been e-mailing them since yesterday but no reply. :mad:

Really? Hmmm, sounds odd. I usually get a reply from them within an hour. Even on sundays at 9pm. Try calling them on monday? I'll give that they're emails are short and to the point, but they have good equipment.

It's unfortunate that you are having a bad experience. Mike Druss (MD) has always been a top notch seller for me and anyone else that I know that has dealt with him. He never deals in boots, unless it is an ultimate last resort (Super Dodge Ball, for example) and when he does it is abundantly clear what you are buying.

Your experience may differ, but I still consider Mike a top tier MVA and JAMMA dealer.

They have some great prices. I recommed them. Maybe it's just I am having a bad experience. Gotta be more patient I guess.

Maxim, my post above speaks my opinion. Most of my carts are from one of two sources and MD is one of them. Mike's a good guy. If you have any doubts, just call him up. The number is even toll free.

I've had plenty of shipments from them with no problems what so ever. The auction ends, I pay, I recieve an email that said 'Thanks' (that's it, nothing else) 3-5 days later a package shipped USPS priority arrives at my college post. I'm happy, I go home, play. I only pay so early on without confirmation, cause I've dealt with them plenty of times before.

@ Maxim: If you are worried about what you see here, just email MD before you make a purchase, that way you can make sure someone is on the reicieveing end. It's easier than listening to us go back and forth.

I've bought numerous things from MD, and had no problems as of yet. He even ships immediately on my personal checks now (I think, it's been a while since I bought off eBay).

MD is generally a straight shooter, I have dealt with Mike before without problems...don't hold the late emails against him, he's a good seller.

I too have done business with MD several times and I am a very happy customer. Emails I sent on weekdays (excluding fridays) were usually answered that day or the next. Email questions sent during the weekend were usually answered the next business day.

Packages I recieved were always well packed and shipped quickly.

Strange, MD has always been very fast with my replies. In fact, I emailed them on friday (about a non-ebay item) and got a response within the minute of me sending it. I've bought a bunch of stuff of them and there has been no problems.

Odd, I've purchased well over 20 MVS titles from Mike at MDGAMESALES. One as recently as this past week. I've always had great service with him and his products are always as advertised. I've purchased games via auction and straight up. He's answered my non purchase queries within a day. As far as I know, he's a one man operation. When he's on vacation then the whole business goes on holiday. He lets folks know when he's going to be out for an extended amount of time.

I would just like to chime in with my $0.02;

Both of the times I have dealt with MD, I have been given kwik responces and fast fast shipping of the promised product. And he was very open to dealing outside of the e bay.

Good guy.

Spike, I'm sorry you are having a rough time, but I'm sure this can be resolved.

I don't want to see this friendship ruined because of a (most likely) email mixup.

You know some people have a short memory but didn't Mike have to recive medical attention for awhile and he was unable to do business for a week or two?

I mean seeing as Mike is someone I have always dealt with as well and I was aware of something happening once before, could it not stand to reason that something may have happened again?
