I think I am Ruined...

Right on topic about Neo Geo and NGF and the like, I feel that my posting about NGF has gotten me a bad reputation and now no one wants to buy from in fear of getting freaked goods. Be rest assured that I would never sell any items that were freaked unless I said so up front. I wish people would stop spamming my selling threads because I do not do the same thing to you.

I understand that many of you don't like NGF but I have been trying to show you that they do have a good side. I think one of the arguments against them would be the fact that their pricing is a little high. However, good things do cost money.

I must agree with you people that some of the prices are over the top. I did not pay $800 for my Ganryu. It is much more affordable if you send Dion the parts for the conversion and have him do it for you. So I ended up paying around $400 for it. That is still much more than the !Arcade! version but I like the insert better. Many of you will pay hundreds of dollars more for an English version of a cart due to the fact that you like the insert better than the Japanese one. This is why I chose the NGF one over the !Arcade! one. However, I think that being choosey can be a problem for one's funds so in the future, I will get the more affordable one despite what the insert looks like.

That's about all I have to sayt for now.

I know your pain, Makismo. I have a similar problem when it comes to selling, that old NGF promotion I did backfires on me pretty much every time.

Don't know what to tell you, other than maybe keep your friendship and business private. You chose to register again as Makismo, so you brought it on yourself (somewhat).

Come on guys, cut them some slack. Has makismo ever screwed anybody over? Not too my knowlede. I mean fine, they like NGF - that's his problem, and it doesn't make sense not to buy from him. I will buy from buy-rite - does that make me a bad person? no. a stupid one? maybe. will people still buy from me? yes. I just don't understand torching a guys reputation because he does business with somebody. WHO CARES

I'm sure I can speak for the majority by saying that many are somewhat apprehensive of buying Makismo's Neo goods. Who knows if they are legit or what they've been through!

Okay, I have NO IDEA what kind of quality of stuff he sells. If he sells trash, he deserves to be torched. But ruining a persons rep because they buy some games from a certain company really doesn't make sense.

Makismo has definitely been trying to get on the good side of this board. Probly because he needs a forum, and the NGF one has tumbleweeds running through it.

I think he just wants to be accepted; and although he was an ass and a dick before, it seems like he's genuinely trying to be nice now. So many we should give him a chance?

Joshua though....i've read so many bad things on deals with him I dont think i'd ever buy/sell to him.

i'd agree....if it wasnt NGF we were talking about.

a- they're not a company
b- they're saturating the market with ignorance and freaked carts; which will eventually end up being called legit by some ignorant joe, and sold to a real collector.

Dealing with NGF on is a ZERO TOLERENCE issue to many people on these boards. Maksimo should have figgured that out on about the 20th "I love NGF" topic he posted, but som people are slow learners I guess. Maksimo has brought this upon him self.

As for you dealing with Buy-rite... what the hell is wrong with you!!! If you havn't been burned yet you will be sooner or later, don't say we havn't wrned you.

Sure Makismo has/will say some stuff most of us will not agree with, and he does "sleep" with ngf and me and him have had words. He at least seems 12% better then he was before he was banned(you lost some points with the whole big tymers thing)

I understand that many want to give the guy a second chance, but didn't he just post a message today saying that he was the official PR person for NGF?

And his previous comment about being a Big Tymer and calling himself Big Maksimo and how we should all aspire to buy from NGF to get the exclusive NGF goodies and access to Big Tymer events?

Granted, I don't know how he used to be since I am relatively new here, but he does seem to take his affiliation with NGF rather seriously and oftentimes to the extreme...

Chimp keeps posting that picture and i think that it is very rude and I wish he would stop sticking it on this board. Anyway, when I sell stuff, I make sure to tell people if it is a NGF product or not. To date, I have only sold one NGF product to someone on these boards and I made sure to state it was a NGF product. Everything else I have sold is SNK original. I plan to keep the rest of my NGF stuff so you needn't worry. I really do want to work things out despite popular belief.

No one will accept your views or your desire to become a part of the boards. You realize that nothing you do will change anyone's minds.

If you want to sell online, you're only recourse is ebay. Accept it.
