Zupapa AES circuit board is green. I didn't open the cart but I cracked it open as much as I could at the top and looked inside under a light. It's a green board. Yep, eprom dump bootleg for sure. Thanks for the info, those of you who were helpful. At least we have absolute facts now.

Added: Unless of course they really did get a deal with FACE and FACE provided them with an unencrypted ROM dump to burn to EPROMs... Which you guys are telling me is impossible because of Face's death, and I am believing you.

Are you happy with the deal?
That's all that matters..There's really no need to start several threads concerning this Zupapa cartridge.
Did NGF offer a service by selling an AES version of this game? YES.
If you purchased anything or trade with them that is your business until you come on these forums and reveal that you've done so.
To expect a favorable response here about anything that has to do with NGF is just totally naive of you after all of the grief they've caused many throughout the years.

NGF destroying authentic merchandise for "self glorification" is a sickness.
Their historic "bad transactions" is what I believe to be for the most part incompetence.
Their slander is jealousy.

You have to understand though, I was flamed so badly and accused of being Dion and shit and I don't want people to think horrible things when they see my name cause I know how bad it can get sometimes on this board between some people. I even had a topic flaming me on the gamefaqs.com boards posted by Tarma I think, it said like "dmhawkmoon is a NGF loving freak" and it got promptly modded.

I was under the impression that actually burning these chips illegally was difficult and hard to come by. In the last couple of weeks, it seems I'm wrong. Hell, one member here has an MVS game with INTEL CHIPS.

Take the advice you're being given by Big Bear. He's been around a long time, at least longer than I have been (I remember his discussions when I first came aboard).

If you're happy with your game, don't worry about it, enjoy it. If you believe it to be a bootleg, the last thing I'd advise you to do is open it up and screw around inside that thing.

Oh yeah, I'm not going to open it up anymore. Some people really wanted me to give them pics of the inside and I was really wanting to see some real proof about whther I own a conversion or eprom thingy.
Actually believe it or not, I find Zupapa to be extremely hard. Some people said it was easy but I can't seem to beat the game without expending all my credits and having to use the second player.

I also found Zupapa MVS a little difficult but I managed to finish it in 2 player mode with a friend. But that was using the Gung-ho attack everything technique instead of actually trying to finish the game without lossing any life. I also have not played it again after I finished it.

Now I guess on the oppinon of NGFUSA aka Chris and dion I guess I will chime in 2cents.

As Big Bear stated if you are happy with them let it be. I am personaly Fine with that and do not look down on you. But the thing you have to remember about Them is what is the end result of the deal.

You recieved a NGH version of Zupapa for a Twinkle star sprite conversion.

I would say the Zupapa is more then likely a Eprom burn. Just for the following reasons.

A) The NGM boards are protected and thier conversion does not use the protected boards

b) they have been offering the game since before it was released so obviously the knew how to copy the chips for awhile -OR- were lieing about having it for sale in the first place.

Do I know 100%, no because I do not own it nor would I ever send them money for it because of what they do.

You also have to look at what is going to happen with the trade you made. well they Reprint and repackage the Twinkle star sprite conversion you sold them and sell it as a Offical SNK version? After all I have seen them offer repackages as orginals before. Why would they need a twinkle star sprites in the first place since they have acquired according to them several large orders of NGH's with most every title out there. You have to look at the big picture with them.

All in All I personally feel dealing with Chris and Dion is a bad Idea. Not because I am Jealous of them or "a fool" or a victim of "Blind fury". But because I do not like thier goals.

A) replace SNK inserts with thier "Correct version" trashing the SNK version and not giving the buyer a choice

B) Using stickers and stamp in the carts they will sell you making them worth less and harder to weed out.

C) the way some of the members on this board have been treated by them.

D) Thier PR skills

etc. etc. etc.

That is the real reason I do not support anything Chris and Dion do. Even if everything about them was a lie and everything they said was true. The above would still remain constant and be enough for me not to support thier efforts. Now add to that everything else they had done and you can see why they are disliked so much.
