This post is with regards to my Zupapa AES trade, I just want to make sure no one has issues with me cause I don't want to start new topics and have to deal with tons of "FUCK YOU YOU NGF SUPPORTER" flame responses.
I hope no one on here hates me, like I said before I traded one probable bootleg for another probable bootleg. Though, if I found out that this cart was actually converted and not an eprom thing, then I wouldn't feel quite as bad about it besides the fact that I'm "helping keep them in business"... I was tired of trying to get FACTS about NGF and hearing all kinds of bullshit stories from people just because everyone hates them. I thought a lot of people actually had no idea what the truth was about NGF, from my research a lot of the things people said on here were just flames and not facts. Whether or not I was RIGHT is another story, but it certainly appeared that way to me, and I do know for sure that at least some people tell lies about NGF and act like they know the facts.
No one really mentioned to me the thing about bootlegs before I got this though, that I saw. I asked about Zupapa AES and people said it was a conversion or an eprom dump, the latter of which I was totally ignorant about. Since I knew people here didn't mind conversions, and I thought eprom thins were similar, I figured the worst that was gonna happen was that there were gonna be stickers or that the "official release" claim wasgoing to be a lie. Either way I was getting an AES copy of it and I thought that would work in my favor no matter what.
Sorry guys, I didn't mean to be stupid, but I did ask you, and based on SOME OF your responses, (some of you are totally upfront and honest I know) I determined that the things you were mad about NGF for were just little things or things that happened back in like 1996 before NGF really existed. I thought I would show you the real deal so we could all re-evaluate it.
I am new to the Neo-Geo scene, I know these topics probably come up a lot and you're all sick of them, but it's not fair to new guys like me when you come on and tell lies to people when there are so many bad truths you could dig up.
Please in the future try not to jump to conclusions about NGF stuff, just dig up some dirty things that are known facts if you want to. If I had seen the whole NGF bible thingy or whatever first I'd probably have reconsidered the deal. Don't come to these threads either if you are mad as hell at NGF. I really have an open mind and I tried to be fair to both sides here, I'm going to listen to and cling to what everyone says. Don't assume I am stubborn about it all.
