How can it be top secret when !arcade! sells them on ebay and their website?

Arcade is a good, honest company and Ray is a nice guy. They do some real good work over there from what I understand and the converter is supposed to be pretty solid. The only problem I've heard about the converter is that you need to have tight slots (the edge connector, where the board slides into have to still be in good condition to work with the contacts on the converter). Never used it myself, but it's supposed to be a decent piece of hardware.

I just got a Phantom-1 from NeoStore and the thing works like a charm. The only problem I have with it is that it's a bitch getting the MVS carts off the converter once it's on there, and with those things costing 200 plus USD I'd hate to have to buy another one anytime soon.

It's a good investment though for the games like Shock Troopers and what not that for some reason or another never get released on the AES

Maybe I'm really unlucky but the converter doesn't work with some games. Windejammers MVS it doesn't work on, I've gotten 2 copies of it and they always reset constantly. I am probably going to contact them about this.

I had one and sold it, but honestly.. it was the best thing invented for the neo. The thing worked GREAT and I never had a problem with them. They were put together and packaged REALLY REALLY well, also. Just make sure you clean your contacts in your neo and take care of it and it will NEVER fail to work.

the converter works great, and it allows you to play not only games unreleased in AES format, but also games that have become insanely expensive (such as metal slug)

the new phantom1 converter plays encrypted roms (no other converter does)

you WILL need tight slots, though, or you could experience glitches

however you could get new slots installed by !ARCADE!

the minor drawback will be dealing with ray, who can be a little "edgy", but if you menage to keep calm, you'll be satisfied!!!
