ah well, there's no way to buy these things, I paid 30 quid for a knock of the samurai shodown motion picture. bit I had to see it!

Yeah, FF The Motion Picture was released in the US. The first DVD I bought when I got the DVD player for my wife..."ahem"...not for me. Really cool, with lots of story and special moves. Makes me pine for a MOTW film. BTW, far better than the OVA's. Even has a SNKish "SCB" (Super Cheap Boss) character. Fun.

Oh cool, thanks! I might try and get my hands on it in that case. I liked the OVAs, well, the first one was kinda turd because the fights were all over after a couple of punches, but second one was a LOT better. Krauser is a really good bad guy in that...plenty evil

NO! If you have any sense of decency (much less sanity), you will stay THE HELL AWAY from Samurai Shodown: The Movie. I saw it nearly two years ago, and I regretted watching every minute of it (what's worse is that I actually remember most of it). If you have to see anything Samurai Shodown-related, get the Samurai Spirits II OVA instead. It has better artwork, much better character development and story, and it won't rot your brain like SS: TM will. Fansubbed copies can be found at Soyokase Fansubs (just type in "Soyokaze" at a search engine, and their site will come up.
Another word of advice: do NOT, under any circumstances, watch Art of Fighting: The Movie (unless you're a real die-hard AOF fan). It's just inches above SS in terms of quality, but that doesn't mean it's any good.

The Fatal Fury OVA's were awesome. And so was the movie. I like FF2 OAV the most though. Thanks for the warning insaneben I was thinking about renting the Art Of Fighting one soon.

FF:TMP was one of the most beautifully rendered anime I have ever seen. It's just so pretty. The VIZ dub is top-notch, too. MMMMMMMM Mai...... <img src="graemlins/drool2.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool 2]" /> Damn she's hot in this movie; Sci Fi kept blurring her out when they aired it! <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" /> I have this film and FF2:TNB. And yes, I have both SS:TMP and the SS OAV (which is really good). AOF is just OK if you watch it without trying to collelate it to the game.
I have the dvd of the first 2 ff oav and tmp. A friend of mine borrowed my motion picture and lost it...he can't find it, damn that bastard. I like the ff anime and my little brothers and sisters watch it with me, hehehe. Yea, being the older one i just watch whatever and so they sit around and just watch it with me. My brother in preschool knows terry bogard from the game and movie. He has seen the golden boy series too. In my family everything except real porn is ok. well hentai is still a no no for my little brothers but a little bit nude here and there doesn't bother me if he sees it.

LOL Thanks for the advice! I have seen the AOF movie LOL It mademe laugh its wasnt that bad but it wasnt that good! It could have been better! LOL TODO! LMAO
