Are the Hori Fighting sticks...

...really that good?

If yes, why?

And what differences between the first 'Neo' model and the latter 'NeoII' model?

All i can say is that you can buy one, do it. Since you get the control of these joysticks, there's nothing like them. They're like steel solid, Auto-fire, and they will last more than any other Neo Geo joystick. Inspite of that, I love to play with the regular Neo Geo Joystick, it only wins by a nose on the ergonomy, but I'll stick a draw between those two Joy's. Both great.

just forget the 2nd SNK generation of joysticks/pads. They can't match the control of the 1st ones and the Hori Fighting Stick.
