OK, Why do people say there is tons of slowdown in Strikers 1945 Plus?

OK,

I need to figure this out. I played the game again tonight on my cab... I use to play it a lot, my best friends little brother came out to stay last summer and we played this tons! The problem is, a lot of people say this game slows down horribly. Even Kazuya, a guy I respect a lot (I use to read his reviews years ago) says it slows down like a SOB in this review http://www.neogeoforlife.com/reviews/strikers_1945_plus.shtml

I have played hours of Strikers, both 1 and 2 player and hardly ever see bad slowdown. Actually, the comment me and my friends brother made was I can't believe this game hardly ever slows down, even with all the stuff on the screen! Yet some people see nothing but slowdown...

Anyone else have some info on this? I know the ROM of Strikers has horrible slowdown. But, my Neo Geo cart does not on a real cab. Can these people just be playing ROMs, or maybe a bootleg copy that has this bad dump? Anyone know? It is really bothering me. As is, I think you all are crazy, Strikers 1945 Plus barely ever slows down.

I have the converted Strikers #35 from !arcade! and I dont have any slowdown. They might be playing a rom or bootleg.

There's a strange thing about Strikers and the slowdown... I've played it in an arcade and it had LOTS of slowdown. But then i've played it in another arcade and it was smooth as silk...
Also the rom is quite strange... Using a rom in on my neighbours' PC and it's full of slowdown... But the same rom from the same CD works perfectly in my PC (And my PC is slower)...

What is the reason? Who knows... I've notice the rom plays better without sound (¿¿??)

It might have to do with what MVS system it is running on. Mine has very little slowdown (almost none) at some really intense moments but thats it.

Must be a rom thing!

Or some people are simply confusing STRIKERS with AERO FIGHTERS 2! :D

THAT one has indeed LOT's of slowdown... ;)
