Like I've said before I used to have Cyber Lip for NG Cartridge. It was really easy and short. I just wondered what the difference between the Home version and Arcade version was. So if any of you have both of them, could you do a little compare and contrast.

I know that they are pretty much exact ports, but obviously it had to be more challenging in the arcade version.

The home one doesn't have a difficulty setting, but the arcade one can be set anywhere from 1-8. I'm guessing the home version is equivalent to level 3 (Normal) or 4 (MVS).

Some other early games like Magician Lord and NAM-1975 lacked difficulty settings on the home versions as well. That could explain why some of the arcade ones may be harder.

With a debug BIOS installed in the home console, you can set the skill level even in games that did not support this natively. I'm assuming this is equivelant to the settings available on an actual MVS arcade machine, since I have seen the option in the BIOS to set the level from 1-8 also. In effect, you can make the home games as hard as the arcade, since the "hard" setting is often level "4" on the home system, and the debug BIOS allows a setting of up to "8".
