Just got back from animation town where i got to play sengoku 3... Must say that I was very disappointed. Folks, seriously Capcoms "Final Fight" series was 100x better. Graphics wise, Sengoku was impressive, but there are only 3 characters you can choose from and the enemies are damn near ALL the same.. I think its great that SNK pushed out another game, but its shitty games like this that are going to do the neo more harm than good.... shit.. i see a tornado outside my window.. gotta go.

There are 3 initial characters you can choose from. But as you progress you get 2 extra ones, the bosses. The are actually pretty cool to use. The game, imo, could have ben better, but I still like it.

I basicly agree with you both. I think it is a great looking game, but the gameplay grows tiresome after 4 or 5 boards. I just don't think there was enough variety, I mean there is only 10-12 different types of bad guys, most are those dumb ghost samurai things. Oh well, I thought it was a lot of fun to play for a little while, but I would never sit there and play this over and over and over again... good for Arcade operators, bad for a home user, I just don't think the replayability is there.

Exactly. After I beat the damn thing, I never wanted to look at it again! By the end I was frustrated and felt like I didnt accomplish anything... I was playing it by myself in the last 2 levels so I was pretty sick of it. The game is fun to play in moderations and with others. Fun during a lunch break and what not, but not for very long. I still like it, it's a fun time killer, but not for home use and definately not fun to play start to finish. Find someone who is on the last level and help him with the boss. He'll need it..

Shades of Ninja Combat; you could pick up the first 3 subbosses--Musashi, Kagerow, and Gembu. Yes, I remember that game from two places--1) bowling alley, and 2) it came with the unit I got over ebay.

yeah... there was a tornado sited like 2 miles south of me last night.. right about when i was writing that... i got scared and had to go. sirens were going off, and all kinds of crazy stuff... Dallas/Ft. Worth was definitely not the place to be last night if you dont like severe weather.

Well i to have mixed fellings on the game on the bad side yes the game is very short and can be over diffacult. but on the plus side the charicters are great and i find it to be an all around fun game.
