Hi,

I'm curious if anyone has dealt with Cosmicco? How reliable are they to buy from and condition were the games in?

Thanks,

They are a good company, I have delt with them a lot, but a lot of their games are bootlegs. It is about 50/50, if you are buying newer games, most are real.

Here is the good games I bought from them:

Strikers 1945
Ganryu
KOF 98
NitD

And the EPROM pirated games:

Spin Masters
Magical Drop 3
Neo Turf Masters
Street Slam

Also shipping is a nightmare, $20 to the us for one cart... and up from there. It turns a good deal around real quick. Plus they only take international money order (real slow by post, 14 day or so turn around before you get your carts), Western Union (about $30) or a bank transfer (about $30) so as you see the price goes up again.

So, it is risky, you may get a fake cart, but they are 100% reliable (if not a pain in the ass to pay) on delivering everything you buy usually in good shape! They run a good business, but the market in Hong Kong is different and there are a lot of bootlegs in arcade, as such they sell them sometimes, it is not really their fault though.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't planning on buying carts, but other arcade pcbs and kits. I have noticed that they have alot of bootlegs listed though.

Well I've ordered a lot of arcade shooter PCBs from them, and they've all been excellent, and no boots. One thing I always do is to verify that the pcbs I am getting are original and not boots. As nruva correctly pointed out, their newer games are usually not boots, and I got quite a few very nice MVS carts from them, like S1945+, Ganryu, NitD, MSX, KOF99, MOTW.

Shipping can be expensive, but that's where pulling together a larger order with games for multiple people helps; you can spread out the shipping/wire costs over multiple games and come out better yourself. Also, always ship via UPS, the EMS shipping can be slow. UPS shipping comes in a few days, very fast.

I got some great shooters recently from them, including Raiden Fighters, RF2, RF Jet, Viper Phase 1, Battle Garegga, Battle Bakraid, Twin Cobra II, Batsugun, Strikers 1945, Gunbird . . . and their prices for shooters are among the best I've seen anywhere!!

Oh, and wire transfer is the easiest and fastest way to pay, but again as nruva pointed out, the fee is usually $30 per wire. Get multiple people in on the order, though, and you can spread out the wire cost as well . . .
