KOF2K1: US or Japanese?

What would you prefer? Is there a major difference? If I'm going to spend $300 dollars on a game I'd like to get the one that would be essentially "cooler" - if there is no difference besides cover art please let me know. Thanks!

Well, as many says, the US version is the more 'sought after' copy because the production will be very limited.

I chose to go with the US version, just so I can have at least one US AES cart in my collection. I could care less about the "coolness" factor, since "coolness" is nothing more than a buzz word used to generate hype (much like the words "extreme", "minty-fresh", "shiny", "gold", and "first"). Do you know if there is going to be a Minty Fresh version of KOF2k1?

Jap version artwork is more cool
jap insert is more cool than us version
but maybe us version one day is a rare version
but for kof 2k1 i think both version will has same value
i preffer jap one
i pre-order one jap version
