Is there any Arcade games that you remember playing when you were a child that still hold a place in your heart??????

I have 4:

1. SPLATTERHOUSE - i wish they would make an update
2. DOUBLE DRAGON - THE best scrolling beat em up
3. RYGAR - BRILLIANT
4. NARC - The violence level was fantasic

Strider, of course. Stands out in my memory as the best thing I ever saw in arcades when I was a kid. Then Street Fighter 2 came out.

Basically all the Neo and Capcom games from the early and mid 90's. I particularly enjoyed all the beat'em ups cuz they were the most fun.

Space Invaders!

This game started my video game addiction.
I still play it sometimes, for half
an hour or so.
And I still manage to kill the last Invader.
What a fun game. :D

I remember when I was a little kid, around mid 80s, there was a Ms Pac-man game in our bowling alley. It had a turbo button of some sort, and a big kid pressed it while I was playing and I died over and over again. I ran home crying my eyes out. I will never forget that fucking piece of shit kid.

I like the old 1980 games from midway like "Spy Hunter", "Defender", "Defender II", "Robotron", and sinistar. Oh and the Root beer tapper.

My dad got me into video games when I was really young, he'd take me to Chucky Cheese or Showbiz and lift me up to the control panel so I could play.
The ones I remember:

Spy Hunter

Gyruss

Pole Position

some snake game that ripped off Indiana Jones

and a bunch of other game were I got trashed within seconds...

I don't think anyone's said it which shocks me but I was a huge Contra fan. And Galaga kicks ass too
