Could someone inform me on the status of SNK?

I know it was going out of busness but I heard they anounced they'd be around till at least 2005,is this true?

Also is it still making it's franchises like Fatal Fury or have they sold the rights to that and others?

Anyway I'm new here,always liked SNK fighters over the past 9 years.

Dude I still can't find the answer I'm looking for. Just someone tell me what SNK's state is please?
