I have the saturn one, and I remember it being good, but different from some of the others. I should be getting the mvs cart from ebay soon so I can post a better review. I don't feel like digging my saturn out of the video game closet of doom, which is where my sega machines go except dc when they aren't played and my coleco and coleco telestar

Yes it's good, I like it better than the First Real Bout.

Many people just use it for a Sac cart, because it's one of the cheapest Sac Carts you can find to use for the newer MVS games that got no home release.

I like the game! It has a great intro too. I just wish that Kim was in the game. Oh well...

The funny thing was that Bob Wilson was supposed to be Kim's replacement, and he wasn't very good at it. Bob just didn't have the look. Plus you could never tell for sure if he was black or white or mulatto.

I really wasn't to fond of Bob Wilson in the RB Series either. He just wasn't my style. Hon Fu was cool in FF3. And who can forget Blue mary.

Actually, with regard to FF3, the best part was Yamazaki, but you need a debug bios installed to get to play as him. :( Yamazaki is one of these characters that never has a bad showing, and always hits the top of the list for best characters. Hell, even in FFWA he was one of the best characters. The fact that Kim was removed from FF3 is really stunning, because he was so incredible in FFS, and then he was still very good in the Real Bout games... Wonder what SNK was thinking.

WOW..Kim is not in Fatal Fury 3? I never realized this...SERIOUSLY..I never used him in that..basically Blue Mary and Sokaku so I never really paid attention..as far as Bob Wilson goes...he's a forgettable char and I would have been happy if Richard Myer replaced him instead of standing on the sidelines rooting Bob on..

works with CD & MVS.

completely finish game (chon rei's stage) & save.
start new game, pick load, pick "new game" then press B when u r on these char: terry, honfu, mai, geese, bob, sokaku, andy, franco, joe, mary (there should be a confirmation beep everytime u pick da correct char).

I may have to grab that title whenever I run into some money.

Seriously though, I really like FF3. The characters were redrawn and the system was redone. The last thing I would've wanted was a SF series prolonging the same thing for years. A lot of people didn't like the fact that there weren't many "familiar" faces, but how else are you going to introduce new characters? Some of the coolest characters came out of FF3. My favorite was probably Bob Wilson (don't understand why people don't like him so much). In short, some people like the game, some don't, but in the end it's still a quality game that you may or may not like.

Come on, you´re making jokes this time.
The gameplay, and even the playability is far away from Real Bout, maybe a bit better than in FF1. REAL BOUT REALLY ROCKS!!!

Yes Chriz, it's even better than Garou. Believe it or not.

Well, it's my favourite FF game so far, second is RBS. I don't really like Garou.
I had the Saturn version and loved it. Now I have the MVS. It has deep and stratategic gameplay, specially because of the 3 planes (the problem is pressing AB & BC at the same time, in Saturn you could have a single button for each) that were never again featured. Music is really good (in CD is superb), specially Franco, Andy, Terry and Geese stages.

let me stress it once again

FF3 is a GREAT SINLE PLAYER game

for versus matches,there's RB1

FFS & RB1 are the best garou games,
then the over hyped simplicistic MOTW

i hate RB2

and love RBS
( but again, its a single player game mainly IMO )

Hi Franie-Boy!!!

1.) Seems like that, but it really suckz in VS-Mode!!!

2.) Yea, i agree with YOU! :)

3.) Hmmm, have YOU ever played MotW for a long time, maybe in VS-Mode Fran???

4.) ME TOO, i can´t understand people, who prefer that insteat of RB or RBS!!! <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

5.) RBS really rocks in VS-Mode, but seems that the Combo-System is a bit too easy. That´s all!!!

Love the Garou: MOTW. Sweetness exemplified. I agree, however, having played it quite a bit, that it can lack depth. Especially the simplistic DM's. It's an interesting play mechanic to be able to pull them off so easily, but it also takes away from the mystique, so to speak. Still, after a hard day at work, nothing blows off steam like BUSTER WOLFing a guy names Butt across the screen.
