Gosh darn it! I aint got it yet. I've got a Jap mint AES one coming in about a months time... hopefully.chimpmeister:
Metal Slug 3 is a FANTASTIC game. One of the best arcade games ever made, period. Personally I love all the Slug games, but MS3 is one of my absolute favorites. The music is incredible, backgrounds and enemies are insane, tons of great humor throughout, and the gameplay ROCKS. Enjoy!!![]()
Yes, that is screenshots from 2 in his sig. There is no difference between the JPN and US carts, they both play the same. It depends what region the bios is in your system. If you have a JPN system, you play the game in the JPN region, regardless of what region the cart is. Some people want the US carts of some games, because they are harder to find and worth a good amount of money. I want an Metal Slug 3 home cart, but, I can't afford it now. I'll stick with the rom for now.rotphungte:

Slug 4 sorta bored me man... then again I'd just played Slug 2 so it was a bit samey samey.Skeeter:
Ya know what's funny. I just got MS3 and MS4 a few days ago myself. First I fired up MS3 and gave it a go. From the little I've seen of it it's a great game for sure. The funny thing is I fired up MS4 next and couldn't quit playing. So the game I'm playing the most first is MS4...go figure.
Gawd I hate real life and work. It kept me from playing anything yesterday crying

Here here!!!chimpmeister:
Actually the screenshots in my sig are from Metal Slug X, but its easy to make that mistake since Slug 2 and X are extremely similar games. Still to me, both are worth owning as they both have their positives.![]()
Hey buddy, <a href="http://www.neostore.com" target="_blank">www.neostore.com</a> !!!nintendospy:
Man I wish I had a local Neo Store.
The bios chip determines what the mode or region what the game plays. For instance, you have a JPN home cart bios in your system, it play under JPN region. But, most games have language selection. But, older ones like Fatal Fury don't. If you have a debug bios, which you can buy from the Neostore, you can change what region, and between mvs and home cart mode. There is every mode and region on every Neo Geo game. It's jus' your bios, that determines what the game's regional settings.rotphungte:
