It hurts every time when I see a game on auction like this:

<a href="http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e9569653" target="_blank">http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e9569653</a>

Why didn't all the sun-faded games go to more common ones like Fatal Fury Special, Samurai 2, or AOF 2. Instead, the rarest games are often the ones I see sun-faded. Last few sun-faded games surfaced on Yahoo Japan were all rare ones (as a matter of fact, rarest), namely Ultimate 11, Neo Turfmasters, Ninja Masters, Twinklestar Sprites. To be exact, the last 2 copies of Ultimate 11 and Turfmasters (4 total) were all sun-faded, ouch!

I noticed that just in time, otherwise I would have bid & perhaps won it.

I guess if you're just a gamer with a lot of cash it's one thing but... sigh, well I'll just have to wait for the next one.

It's sad indeed, butthings like that help you put into perspective why you might want to buy a game like that now - some other rich fool might buy it and place it on a shelf next to the window - we must protect all the rare carts.

PS: I keep my collection in the dungeon vault. No sunlightat all. Send carts to me if you want to keep them safe from natural light and other possibilities. :)

Actually for lack of space, mine are in droors, in my closet & under the bed. My Stakes Winner 2's insert is actually a little faded (wasn't reported), but hey, for $87, who can complain?

I know what you mean Vince.
My Twinkle Star Sprites has some minor sun fading on the front.
But for the price I couldn't pass it up from Super sellers, for $200.The cart and manual are mint like new.

its probably because people cant bare to throw out super rare carts that are sunfaded, but carts like ss2 and ffs just get chucked if they cant sell em.

Seems like vincewy is the "almighty king of Neo world".

He has mercy on those AES carts.........

His goal is to "save" all the AES carts and give them "eternal" life

I only thought sun-faded games occured as a result of sitting on video rental store shelves too long.. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

Actually, he gave eternal life to one of his very own carts. Viewpoint. Now, it lives eternally with me. Thanks, Vince, the game rocks. (and is just as hard as I remember!) :D :D
