Am I the only one who wishes I could have at least controlled him in a game? He should have been in the FF sequels as well as part of the US team in KOF right from the start. He was dumped way too soon. They should bring back Michael Max for KOF 2K3.

It'd be cool to see obscure characters like him madeover and return in new games, like Capcom has done with various Street Fighter 1 characters.

Well, most characters that were left behind in Fatal Fury 1-2 and Street Fighter 1 were simply horribly boring. I mean, a boxer who is a copy of Balrog who is a parody of Tyson? Or Joe, a blond guy in red pants who does "street fighting".

Mike Max is my favorite character in the SNK universe.

I was praying for him to be in SvC...

Stereotyping at its best. First off Michael Max was before Balrog. I despise Balrog and wish everyone would quit associating Michael Max with him. And just because he's black and a boxer doesn't mean hes a parody of Tyson. If that was the case then about half the characters in all fighting games must be a parody of Bruce Lee right? Fatal Fury 1 and 2 had the most exciting characters in the series. It's the newer ones that are horribly boring. Michael Max isn't boring especially compared to 5 different ninjas who are pratically the same other than a different outfit and color of hair.

Amen to that. Capcom has some good games too but there good for Stereotyping too. The black guy usually all ways has to be a boxer or a B.ball player, or some lacky follower with bad special moves & combo's. When you finally see one thats realy good they all ways have to have something funny or strange about them(Birdie from S.F.)or there face is covered like Venom from G.Gear. (I can OWN any 1 when I pick him. buttrock ) Even there endings suck the most when you finally beat the game with them. They gotta be dancing or saying/doing something stuped. The only 2 that I can think right now are Venom & Eddy G.>from Tekken that you can really enjoy playing with. spock
